“My initial project proposal was that I wanted to watch the 2024 election coverage, record my reaction, and document it through a series of digital portraits. I originally envisioned Kamala Harris winning and pictured this series being a celebration series. She did not win.

I was going to just discard the project idea, but I was in a state of greif that could only be helped by creating something, so I made a grief portrait series that was from real footage reactions of me watching the election poll results roll in at 8 A.M.”
